Rubaya Islam is currently devoted as a lecturer at the Canadian University of Bangladesh with a strong academic foundation in the legal arena. She earned both her LLB and LLM from the University of Dhaka with eminent accomplishments, the pivotal interests being Comparative Constitutional Law, International Trade Law and ADR.
Rubaya has cultivated a range of specialized skills and experiences that enhance her teaching and research. She has completed an intensive course on Refugee Law and Protection of Refugees, securing top position in this competitive program led by the University of Dhaka and UNHCR. Her engagement in moot court competitions, legal research methodology courses and participation in Annual Asia Regional CLE Mock Trial workshops underscore her practical insight into the legal systems and advocacy.
A sturdy groundwork in freelancing not only enabled her to build expertise in content creation and product marketing but also sparked an interest in commercial law. Driven by a passion for human rights, ADR, and restorative justice, she aspires to make significant contributions to legal research and education.
