Short Biography
Jannatul Ferdous Esha is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Canadian University of Bangladesh. She holds a Master of Science in Information and Communication Engineering from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), with a CGPA of 3.71, and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Engineering from BUP, with a CGPA of 3.78. Her academic background includes intelligent systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data mining, cloud computing, networking, and telecommunications.
Before joining academia, she worked as a Web Developer at Purple Patch, where she developed Django-based web applications and RESTful APIs, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at CraftyCode Tech, where she worked on end-to-end machine learning pipelines, model development, evaluation, and production deployment.
Her research interests include deep learning, computer vision, biomedical image analysis, medical artificial intelligence, natural language processing, large language models, multimodal learning, generative AI, and explainable AI. Her research work has resulted in publications in international journals and conferences, including IEEE Access and Diagnostics. Her research contributions include Parkinson’s disease classification, brain hemorrhage detection, lung cancer-related analysis, face recognition, and polycystic ovary syndrome diagnosis. She is also interested in developing practical AI-driven applications that integrate machine learning with web-based systems.
