Short Biography
Ananya Imtiaz Hussain is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at the Canadian University of Bangladesh, with an academic background in Marketing, Human Resource Management and Finance. He completed both his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU), Jahangirnagar University, graduating first in class in both programs.
His research interests include Consumer Behavior, Technology Adoption, Social Marketing, and Behavior Change, with particular interest in understanding how consumers interact with emerging technologies and how marketing can contribute to meaningful social impact.
Before joining academia, Hussain worked as a Business Development Manager at SysModeler, Inc., a U.S.-based technology startup, where he worked across business development, branding, content strategy, website content development, pricing strategy, and market outreach.
His combination of academic training and industry experience enables him to bring practical business perspectives into the classroom while pursuing research at the intersection of business, technology, consumer behavior, and society.
