Abu Sufian Md. Noman is currently serving as the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Lakshmipur. With a robust academic foundation in law, he obtained his LLB and LLM from the University of Chittagong, demonstrating a strong commitment to the legal profession. His judicial career spans over twelve years, during which he has held key positions, including Metropolitan Magistrate at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Dhaka, Senior Judicial Magistrate at Khagrachari, and Assistant Judge at Hobiganj Judge Court.

Noman has also contributed significantly to legal education, serving as a guest lecturer at North South University, Canadian University of Bangladesh, International Islamic University Chittagong, Premier University Chittagong, and other institutions. His expertise includes Advocacy, Criminal Law, Business Law, Evidence Law, and Clinical Legal Education.

Beyond his judicial and academic roles, he has actively participated in national and international judicial training programs, including at the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, and Judicial Academy of Maharashtra, India, enhancing his expertise in Criminal Procedure, Penal Code, and Intellectual Property Law. His contributions to legal literature include authorship of ‘Be Learned’, further establishing his role as a scholar in the field.
