About the Club

The Canadian University Bangladesh Law and Moot Club (CUBLMC) is one of the most active and dynamic student organizations at the Department of Law, Canadian University of Bangladesh, and proudly stands among the top law and moot clubs in the country. Our club serves as a center of excellence for legal advocacy, research, and courtroom simulation that empowers students to develop the essential skills of argumentation, reasoning, and professionalism. Over the years, CUBLMC has achieved remarkable success in both national and international Competitions, including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) Moot and Mock Trial Competitions, and National Mock Trials and Legal Debates. Club has regularly participated and excelled in numerous national mock trial competitions, debate tournaments, and legal writing events, demonstrating our members’ commitment to academic and practical legal excellence. Beyond competitions, CUBLMC actively organizes workshops, training sessions, and interactive seminars on legal writing, mooting techniques, human rights, and environmental law. Enhancing the culture of critical thinking and professional development among law students.

Over the years, our club has established itself among the leading moot clubs in the country, achieving remarkable success in both national and international moot court competitions, as well as in various law-based academic events. As an active mooter, I have witnessed firsthand how mooting cultivates critical thinking, legal research, and advocacy skills—qualities essential for every aspiring lawyer.
