Mr. Hamid Rashid of United Nations talked about the global economic outlook and its implications for Bangladesh at Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB)

Mr. Hamid Rashid, Chief of Global Economic Monitoring, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, United Nations (UN), delivered an enlightening speech on "The Global Economic Outlook & its Implications for Bangladesh" on 22nd May, 2023. Dr. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman, BoT of CUB, added an extra sparkle to the event by presenting flower bouquets to the guests. Patrick Tangney, Chairman & CEO, Pinnacle Towers and Frontier Towers Group and Virtual Dean, School of Science & Engineering of CUB, shared insights on entrepreneurial mindsets and the importance of minimizing transaction costs in fostering a thriving business environment. The program was meticulously commenced by Professor Ridhwanul Haq of IBA, Dhaka University. Lastly, respected Vice-Chancellor of CUB, H M Jahirul Haque, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees for their wholehearted participation.
