The Department of Law, Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) has reached a new milestone in the 9th Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition Bangladesh National Round 2025! Competing against 44 universities, our team showcased exceptional legal prowess, securing 6th place in the national rankings—our best performance to date.

• Asef Ibnul (Oralist 1 – ranked 11th out of 88 oralists)

•  Jannatunnesa Jeba (Oralist 2 – ranked 18th out of 88 oralists)

• Tawhid Hassan Sharno (Researcher)

After winning all four preliminary rounds, CUB secured a spot in the Top 8 for the first time. On 7th February, the team battled through intense rounds to reach the quarterfinals. The following day, on 8th February, they faced the University of Dhaka in a high-stakes match. Despite a fierce and commendable fight, CUB finished as the 6th best team in Bangladesh, marking an extraordinary milestone in its mooting journey.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication, skill, and perseverance of our mooters, coach, and mentors. CUB Law is fast emerging as a powerhouse in the national mooting circuit.
