Impact of Due Diligence in Maintaining Corporate Governance” held at CUB
Canadian University of Bangladesh organized a seminar titled “The Impact of Due Diligence in Maintaining Corporate Governance” on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at its Auditorium.
The esteemed Keynote Speaker renowned economist Mr. Amer Rasul, Executive Vice President, Atlus Group, Canada; CPA, CA, MBA, University of Toronto delivered the session.
Mr. Rasul gave an important discussion, in his address, the research in Due Diligence in Maintaining Corporate Governance improves corporate governance literacy, ethics in corporate governance being an important contributor to the development of the country. He emphasized that Due diligence ensures accountability, transparency, and fairness. It also enhances student learning and encourages them to be aware of ethical perspectives in governance.
Mr. Rasul gave answers to many questions from the audiences. A large number of students from the department of School of Business of CUB participated with their thirsty minds. Mr. Rasul’s Family members also graced the session.
The seminar was opened by Professor Dr. Md. Ridhwanul Haq, Senior Advisor (BoT), CUB.
Professor S.M. Arifuzzaman; Head, Department of the School of Business anchored the session.
The number of faculty members was present in the session including Professor Dr. Miftahur Rahman, Dean, School of Science and Engineering, Canadian University of Bangladesh.
Prof. Dr. Gias U Ahsan, Pro-Vice Chancellor gave vote of thanks.
