First-ever class at the permanent campus of the Canadian University of Bangladesh.
The Canadian University of Bangladesh achieved a historic milestone on January 3, 2024, by conducting its first-ever class at the permanent campus located at Purbachal, Dhaka.
This significant achievement was the outcome of careful planning and was decided during the 22nd Academic Counseling Meeting held at the permanent campus at Purbachal.
Even though it was a trial class preceding the official commencement of academic programs at the new campus, it marks a substantial leap forward in the university's transition to its permanent home. The School of Business had the honor of being the first department to experience this landmark moment.
Led by Professor S.M. Arifuzzaman, Head of the School of Business at the Canadian University of Bangladesh, 25 students from the School of Business were privileged to attend the first class at the permanent campus. Professor Arifuzzaman expressed his joy at witnessing the enthusiasm of the students in joining classes at their permanent campus.
This achievement not only symbolizes growth and progress for the university but also reflects the commitment to providing students with a conducive and advanced learning environment. As the university continues its journey on the permanent campus, this momentous occasion is indicative of a promising and successful future
