The aim of this program (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering) is to transform well qualified students to highly competent professionals having the potential of becoming a future leader in their field. EEE curriculum emphasizes the development of analytical skills, acquisition of knowledge and a good understanding of the languages, tools and emerging electrical systems. The students will not only be able to possess theoretical knowledge but also real life practical skills on EEE that will help them establish good careers in the industry. Opportunities under the EEE department includes design and operation in electrical power generation, transmission & distribution; maintenance of electrical machines and helping students become familiar with telecommunication, satellite and radio systems. Also this curriculum will engage them in research to find out the innovations for the future including entrepreneurships.

Here students earn an ability to use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for computing practices. The department has state of art laboratory where students can develop electrical machines- motors, generators, and switchgears with varying complexity in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices.
Canadian University of Bangladesh encourages students to innovate new ideas to facilitate advancement in the global technology by project works and industry training. Here students earn an ability to acquire and apply knowledge of mathematical foundations, electrical circuit and system design, engineering tools, technology and physical science theory.
Events and Workshops:
Department of EEE arranges various events and workshops frequently to ensure the growth of our students. The department celebrates events like Robotics workshop, higher study abroad seminar etc. The department also arranged career related discussions with the students.
EEE Robotics club was established on March 10th, 2018 on the eve of first Robotics Workshop held in CUB. The main goal of the club is to make the students aware of this new scientific arena and participate in national and international robotics competition.
